Who is the team
behind MapX?
Our mission is to be the platform that powers executive hiring. We believe the future of executive search is a blend of specialised AI and skilled practitioners who use data analytics to educate and advise on hiring.
In 2020, a team at Savannah Group, an established executive search firm, started building data analytics and data science capabilities. Frustrated at the lack of leadership-specific research tools, and with a desire to improve executive hiring, we assembled a team of engineers and data scientists to built our own talent identification and analytics platform to add additional rigour, data, insight and pace. That tool is MapX.
Since 2022, the Savannah Group team have been using MapX to enhance their Executive Search services and add more value to clients with additional talent intelligence services.
MapX has been tested on hundreds of hiring scenarios from the world’s largest, fastest growing and most demanding businesses and is designed to enable recruitment teams to be more strategic and more productive.
Impressed by the pace and quality of Savannah Group’s services, clients asked us about using MapX themselves to improve their in-house executive talent acquisition efforts, and MapX the company was born.
